Bush Walk Beauty

The weather was perfect for the RiverConnect and Shepparton Mooroopna Urban Landcare Group Bush Walk at Boulevard Bush Reserve on Sunday 18 October.

Landcare members and Council staff were joined by 20 locals to explore the wonderous Boulevard Bush Reserve as part of the Activities in the Park program.

Participants heard historical information about the reserve - such as it was once used to stable race horses, before being treated to an insightful overview of the plants and animals that are found in the Boulevard Bush Reserve - such as Platypus, Echidnas and Kangaroo Grass.

After a cruisy late morning stroll, participants enjoyed a BBQ whilst chatting with local landcare and Council staff.

Thank you to all involved in organising the event and thanks to those who shared the day with us.
