Celebrate World Environment Day 2017 with a special Breakfast with the Birds on Sunday 4 June at Reedy Swamp.

World Environment Day encourages you to be #WithNature, so why not have breakfast with nature! Celebrate World Environment Day a day early - Sunday 4 June - with Breakfast with the Birds, hosted by RiverConnect and Birdlife Murray Goulburn.

Learn to identify a range of fascinating birds from the edge of Reedy Swamp, followed by a FREE hot breakfast and presentation from Jo Wood from Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority on wetland management.

Jo's work includes planning and monitoring the impacts of environmental flows on wetlands. Jo uses innovative ecoacoustic technology to listen to the calls of various species of birds, frogs and other catchment creatures to measure the impacts of environmental water.

Date: Sunday 4 June 2017

Time: 8.00am - 9.30am

Location: Reedy Swamp, Reedy Swamp Road, Shepparton

Note: we will meet in the car park, please look for the RiverConnect teardrop banners as you drive along Reedy Swamp Road.

RSVP to riverconnect@shepparton.vic.gov.au or call 5832 9700. Please mention any dietary requirements.

Celebrate our beautiful environment with a morning learning about the importance of healthy wetlands!
